THE TYPHOON STORY.
An historical account of the creation and development of what is now the most numerous and significant combat aircraft in service with Britains Royal Air Force. The Typhoon now forms a major part of the RAFs inventory and is a cornerstone of NATO operations, serving with the forces of Italy and Germany, amongst others. This book will look at the fascinating history of the programme, from the early days of the Experimental Aircraft programme, through to the creation of the Eurofighter and the entry into operational service of the Typhoon. Despite the popularity of the Typhoon, very little has been published on this subject. Tim Mclelland seeks to explore the history of the RAFs main combat aircraft. -
