The twin engine was produced as a reconnaissance plane in the first years of World War Two, but was thereafter converted for other roles, until even rising the interest of the Luftwaffe. A fore-mounted 37 mm cannon for ground attack purposes gave to the elegant twin engine a more threatening look even though burdening the speed and performance of the aircraft.
