BAC TSR.2. Lost Tomorrows of an Eagle.
The TSR.2 story: its inception, development and downfall: what the RAF wanted the aircraft for: how it might have been deployed: what weapons it might have carried: and how it might have appeared had it actually entered service.
Although the TSR.2 never entered service all the illustrations are based on primary sources, such as the surviving prototype aircraft, the preliminary BAC camouflage scheme drawing of November 1964 and relevant Air Ministry Orders and Defence Council Instructions of the period.
The unit markings which have been applied to the illustrations have been drawn up within the provisions of the relevant DCIs and with some artistic licence based on established practice by the units concerned and the RAF in general.
